Twitch Live: Customer Security Spotlight - Platform Engineering with Starbucks
In June 2024, I had the please of chatting with a couple folks from the Starbucks Platform Engineering! We discussed what the team has built and the different security, devops, and engineering aspects of the solution. We also discuss fav coffee drinks from SBUX!
This team shared great insights to share on their approach including guiding principles and philosophies! My favorite takeaway was the team extended the Security Shared Responsibility model across their own platform, devs, cloud, and security teams which allowed them to more easily collaborate given clear transparency around who is responsible for what. VERY COOL - kudos to the team for setting a high bar and strong technology and security focused culture.
